The Positive Practice Mental Health Collaborative is a user led multi agency collaborative of seventy-five organisations, including NHS Trusts, CCG’s, Police Forces, third sector providers, front line charities and service user groups. They identify and disseminate positive practice in mental health services by working together across organisations and sectors, to facilitate shared learning, and to raise the profile of mental health with politicians and policy makers. They share practice in a variety of ways including through special interest groups, events, the national MH Awards, and via a virtual network.
Impact and reach
This was our first #BeyondTheRoom awards ceremony. A glitzy affair in the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool, which saw dapper suits and stylish dresses mix with celebration, alcohol and a good deal of tweeting. We had 379 people sending 1.8k tweets during the evening event, bringing a total of 12.7m Twitter impressions.
